Okay so the other day i was out with my friends ( Sophie Brigden) and we went to see said Hunger Games ...It wasnt bad but im in love with the book so it was never going to measure up ...Anyways im going of point. We went to dinner after and then i went back to my car to drive home, as you do. The car park ide parked in is usually your first 2 hours free which is pretty good, im impressed and goes up in price the longer your there as mmost car parks do ...However i did not realise that after four hours the price goes up to £10 ...can you belive that £10 whole pounds ..thats 2 hours worth of wages for me, and just my luck i happen to get to the ticket machine half and hour over the 4hr mark ....crap. Fortuantly, although unhappy about it i had just the right amount , a £10 pound note in my purse. So i bitterley go to insert the previously mnentioned £10 when i notice that the machine is out of order. ( heavy sigh)
So i go to the other ticket machine when i again try to to insert my note , however this time the machine will only take coins ! Are you kidding me ..i only had a note and if i spent it to break it into change ide no longer had enough ...Bare in mind its getting quiet late and the boeling alley is the only thing left open. So i deside to phone my mother for help otherwise ide be stuck in this car park for the rest of my life ( a little dramatic i know but im a drama student so it comes with the package :) ) So as i get my phone i notice that i am not only almost out of credit but nearly out of battery ...you cant make this stuff up, so after making the speedyest phone call of my life my mother agrees to come to me with the coins. So after waiting for her to turn up or what seems like a life time she finnally arrives and tells me to get in my car and go home. Confused i ask why, i need the money.
Welll what i had failed to realise whilst i was busy stressing out is that after alll of this curfufell the car park only went and raised the barriers as it had gone past a certain time and i could have left all along ..... oh dear ....oh dear is all i have to say ...
one day ill look back on this and laugh but i hope it gave some of you a laugh right now :) xxxx
